Bamboo tree with lots of food

On my most recent trip to Vang Vieng, I discovered Bamboo Tree and went there several times during my stay. It was really easy to find because it was on the major street. Because this eatery gets PACKED at night, I was surprised to find how underestimated it was on TripAdvisor.

They serve a variety of Laotian and Western dishes. My friend, who is typically a meat eater, fell in love with the satay tofu burger here. They also provide vegan options, which can be tough to come by in Asia due to the widespread use of fish sauce and oyster sauce. If you really want to go all out, they also have a selection of substantial steaks.
