Lunch in the Paddy

If you’re cruising between Luang Prabang and the epic Kuang Si waterfall, you’ve gotta check out Banna Cafe for lunch. This spot is such a gem — I swear the vibes here are unreal! There are a ton of cute cafés and chill places to grab a coffee, snack, or cold drink along the way, but Banna totally stands out IMHO.

Word on the street (AKA from the savvy locals) is that the chef at Banna used to run things at Sofitel. Whether you believe the rumor or not, one thing’s certain: the food here is sooo good! 🍲✨ I tried their local specialties and everything was fresh and totally on point.

But let’s talk about the real highlight: the view. You get sweeping paddy field vistas that legit look straight out of a movie. Get your cameras ready, because your Instafeed just got an upgrade! 🤳🌾

If you wanna stop by, Banna Cafe is just off the main road between Luang Prabang and Kuang Si. It’s easy to spot, and there’s plenty of parking. Open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Perfect for a chill lunch break in paradise!
