On the way from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang, there's Phu Kao Lak Viewpoint, a must-stop for anyone passing through. From here, you can see nine mountains stacked in a layered pattern, just as its name suggests. Plus, the 360-degree panorama makes it feel like you're in the middle of a movie set.

When we went, the weather was cool and a bit foggy. The photos came out without much editing, thanks to the natural lighting. It felt incredibly cool.
But if you go during the rainy season like we did, you might encounter a landslide along the way, but the final destination is worth it.
