Offering sticky rice to monks in Luang Prabang, Laos

#Entering the temple to make merit

#Offering sticky rice to monks is a tradition that we want everyone to experience at least once. This time, we got to see it with our own eyes in #Luang Prabang
A world heritage city next to Thailand.
It's easy to get to and the cost of living is not much different from Thailand.

We got to see the lifestyle of Lao people and tourists
who came together to offer alms early in the morning.

The most beautiful location we think is along the wall of Wat Saensukharam
which is a temple built since 2261.
You will see the church with a tiered roof at the back.

The best time to come is early in the morning, around 5:30 AM onwards.
For the sticky rice that is brought to offer alms, if you didn't prepare it from your hotel, there will be vendors selling it nearby.
