The lingering charm of Egypt felt in the embrace of the Nile River

As soon as I arrived in Luxor, the 'Nile River' struck me with its powerful presence. This river, where ancient civilization began, still flows through the heart of the city, sustaining lives just as it did thousands of years ago. In the morning, I strolled through the vast forest of stone columns at Karnak Temple, and by noon, I passed by Luxor Temple and boarded a Nile River cruise. A cup of mint tea on the cruise offered a surprising sense of relaxation amidst the heat.

In the evening, I rode a felucca, a boat that moves solely with the wind, and drifted slowly along the Nile. The sunset viewed from the felucca was more moving than any extravagant tourist attraction. The scene of the crimson sky, shimmering waves, and the silhouette of temples in the distance combined to create a serene moment that felt as if time had stopped.

Thanks to the local guide's explanations, I could vividly imagine the mythical figures and the significance of the ancient temples, enriching the journey even further. Luxor is not merely a 'historical site'; it is an ancient city that breathes alongside the Nile River. This journey will remain an unforgettable experience for a long time.
