[Egypt Travel] Luxor Temple🏛️Elegant and symmetrical thousand-year-old place of faith

Luxor Temple is my top Egyptian temple. The moment I entered, I was captivated by its perfectly symmetrical architecture. From the massive pylons, the straight columns, to the clearly axial corridors, every step felt like stepping into a majestic and elegant poem.

Unlike other temples primarily dedicated to the worship of gods, Luxor Temple is unique in that it has gradually integrated diverse faiths throughout history. While retaining the sacredness of ancient Egyptian temples, it has also been the site of Islamic monasteries and even contains Catholic relics, becoming a symbol of the intersection of diverse religions.

The only regret is that one of the two symmetrical obelisks that originally marked the temple's entrance has been sent to France and stands in the Place de la Concorde in Paris. Even so, Luxor Temple remains imposing, and in the golden light of the setting sun, it feels like a journey back to a mysterious and glorious ancient civilization.
