China is a multi-ethnic country. With thriving and continuous development for thousands of years, the cultures of different ethnic groups constantly evolve in daily life, which jointly create the spectacular Chinese civilisation and become a precious fruit in human culture.

In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) specially relocates the Sculpture Park of the Chinese Ethnics on Taipa Grande to the Garden of Commander Ho Yin. Through the exhibition of sculptures created on the theme of images of the 56 ethnic groups as well as items and information about them, the peaceful, harmonious and amicable Chinese national spirit is highlighted, expressing the best wishes for national unity of the motherland.
