Relive the history of Hai Island City at the Cotai History Museum

The Cotai History Museum is a historic building located on Gulia Shriver Street in the old town of Taipa, Macau. The two-story neoclassical building was once the offices of the Sea Island City Hall building and the temporary Sea Island City Council.

Inside the museum, visitors can view artifacts unearthed from Rowan and stone structures in the basement. In the "Changes in Cotai Villages" thematic exhibition area, visitors can learn about the lives of villagers in Cotai villages. In addition, the furnishings of the former Sea Island City Hall meeting room are preserved in the Sea Island City Hall exhibition area. Visitors can feel the rich historical atmosphere in the exhibition area. Of course, visitors can also visit the Cotai Economy - Agriculture, Fishing and Fisheries exhibition area, the Cotai Economy - Firecracker Industry, Shipbuilding Thematic Exhibition Area, the Cotai Architectural Features and the Development of Cotai to deepen their understanding of Cotai history.
