Lingering in the green shadows: a poetic walk in Lou Lim Ieoc Garden

#MacauItinerary
Walking into Lou Lim Ieoc Park is like entering a unique oriental landscape painting. This garden, which combines Chinese and Western styles, soothes the soul of every visitor with its tranquility and elegance. The rockery waterfall at the entrance adds a touch of vitality to the park with the sound of gurgling water. Walking along the winding stone path, a lush green world unfolds before your eyes. The design of Chinese courtyards can be seen everywhere, with vermilion arches and carved window frames, which are delicate and elegant. The pavilion in the center of the lake is reflected in the blue waves, and a few water birds are circling on the water, adding a touch of liveliness to the tranquility. Strolling along the winding paths, the occasional sunlight shines through the dense shadows of the trees, casting mottled shadows, which makes people feel warm. The white-walled arcades in the Western-style building area bring a completely different visual experience. The sculpture standing in the center of the courtyard silently guards this oasis. When I left, the green shadows of the park were still engraved in my heart, as if whispering the wish for a peaceful and tranquil life. In Lou Lim Ieoc Park, time passes slowly and gently, making people intoxicated.
