🇲🇴Macau Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall | Following the footsteps of great men

My dears, today I will take you to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Macau to feel the weight of history!

This memorial hall was originally the residence of Sun Yat-sen's first wife, Mrs. Lu Muzhen, and her family. It is an Islamic Moorish building. After Mrs. Lu died in 1952, it was established as the "Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall" in 1958.

Entering the hall is like opening a vivid history book. Here are the furniture and items used by Sun Yat-sen when he practiced medicine in Macau and served as the Grand Marshal in Guangzhou. Each piece carries the story of the past years. Those precious authentic works allow people to appreciate the gentleman's style and ambition up close.

Sun Yat-sen once practiced medicine at the Kiang Wu Hospital in Macau, had a deep friendship with Mr. Zheng Guanying, and was recommended by officials of the late Qing government. The Moorish architectural style of the memorial hall is unique, influenced by the North African Moors, and is also more common in Portugal.

The memorial is open to the public free of charge (closed on Tuesdays). It is a treasure trove of patriotic education in Macau. Come here to remember the great achievements of Mr. Sun Yat-sen and experience that magnificent history! #澳门景点
