🐉 As a food lover fascinated by "dragon" culture, I chose to celebrate my birthday this year at Yue Long Xuan, a Michelin three-star Cantonese restaurant in Macau. Despite having visited Macau multiple times, this was my first encounter with this establishment, and it allowed me to truly appreciate the allure of "top-tier Cantonese cuisine." At first, the dishes seemed standard, but upon tasting other meals later, I realized the near-perfect balance achieved here in seasoning, cooking techniques, and ingredient selection. It's akin to excelling in every subject during school exams—a rare and extraordinary feat.
Coincidentally, I visited on Mother's Day. While waiting for the dishes, a heartwarming scene unfolded in the neighboring private room: a blonde-haired, blue-eyed little girl was playing with LEGO in an ice bucket, carefree and content. Her innocent demeanor instantly brought back memories of childhood banquets. Back then, I never had the chance to taste Michelin three-star delicacies like black pork char siu. Now, as an adult, I'm often entangled in life's trivialities.
This culinary journey was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a brief escape from life's burdens. Finally, happy birthday to me! May every day ahead be filled with joy, good appetite, and continued discoveries of delightful surprises in the intertwined journey of food and life's challenges!
