Phra That Doi Kong Mu, Mae Hong Son Province

It is one of the important landmarks of Mae Hong Son Province. It is located on a high mountain with a clear view of Mae Hong Son City. It is a sacred place and a beautiful viewpoint in the northern part of Thailand.

🍀 History:
The large pagoda was built in 1860 by Chong Tong Su, a Burmese trader. The small pagoda was built in 1874 by Phraya Singhanatracha, the mayor of Mae Hong Son. Both pagodas are in Burmese art style. They are exquisitely beautiful. Inside, there are relics of Phra Moggallana, an enlightened disciple of the Lord Buddha.
