Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, Mae Hong Son

Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, Mae Hong Son:

Located on Doi Kong Mu in Mueang District, Mae Hong Son Province, west of Mae Hong Son town, this temple, formerly known as Wat Plai Doi, is a significant and revered landmark in Mae Hong Son. It is considered the provincial temple and chedi. It houses two beautiful chedis: the larger chedi, enshrining the relics of the Venerable Moggallana, brought from Myanmar. The smaller chedi was built by Phraya Singhanatracha, the first governor of Mae Hong Son. From Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, visitors can enjoy a clear and beautiful view of the Mae Hong Son landscape and city.

It is a popular destination for tourists to pay their respects and make merit, and is a must-see attraction in Mae Hong Son Province.
