Sutongpe Bamboo Bridge, Mae Hong Son

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Sutongpe Bridge, Mae Hong Son, is the longest bamboo bridge in Thailand. Its beauty changes depending on the season. During the rainy season, the rice fields below are lush green. However, during the winter months like our visit, the green fields turn a golden yellow, creating a different kind of beauty. You can visit all year round, and the beauty is endless. Pose and walk on the bridge!
Sutongpe is a Shan language word, meaning "prayers fulfilled." The name comes from the hard work and dedication of monks, novices, villagers of Kung Mai Sak, and various devotees who worked together to build it to allow monks and novices from Suan Tham Phusama and the surrounding villagers to travel back and forth. This bamboo bridge, 2 meters wide and approximately 600 meters long, is a symbol of the fulfilled prayers of all those who contributed to its construction.
