Azzuro Restaurant in the Maldives

This restaurant offers a menu in Russian and serves delicious food. It is the main dining venue for guests staying in overwater villas. Guests staying on the island can also dine here by making a reservation at least two hours in advance. Additionally, there is an à la carte menu available at an extra cost. A dinner for two, including a bottle of fine champagne, costs approximately $250–$270.

The main highlight of this restaurant is its stunning views. However, reservations for dinner need to be made one day in advance. Interestingly, when we arrived, there were only two other customers in the restaurant.

The waitstaff could improve their communication skills, as we noticed they struggled to explain menu-related questions.

As for the taste, the food was decent but overpriced for the quality provided. That said, considering this is the Maldives, the pricing seems reasonable.

I think it’s worth trying at least once during your stay at the resort to enjoy a change from the buffet dinners. The breathtaking views will surely leave a lasting impression.
