The region preserves 5.62 million acres of pristine wetlands, continuously enhancing ecological functions through measures like grazing prohibition and vegetation restoration, forming a plateau wetland landscape crisscrossed by rivers and lush with water plants. In summer, visitors can admire the meandering Yellow River landforms and rare birds like black-necked cranes, while in winter, the snow-covered scenery presents a majestic silver-white vista.
