①Kounkaku
A gorgeous building with many decorations and sculptures built by Matsue City as a display house for Matsue City crafts
Completed in September 1903

②Matsue Shrine
Located on the mountain just beside Kounkaku in Matsue Castle Mountain Ninomaru
Horio Yoshiharu, the founder of the Matsue shogunate, and feudal lord of Matsue It enshrines Matsudaira Naomasa, Matsudaira Harusato, and Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Heart-shaped votive plaques are sold at Kounkaku and Buratto Matsue Tourist Information Center.
