Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots

I went to Matsushima, one of the Three Most Scenic Views of Japan, a must-visit spot when traveling to Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.

It takes about 40 minutes by train from Sendai, and the sightseeing boat dock is just a short walk from the station.

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery loved by Date Masamune and Matsuo Basho on the sightseeing boat "Niomaru Course (900 yen)".

We were blessed with sunny weather that day, so the contrast between the floating green islands, the blue sky, and the sea was very beautiful.

I think Miyagi Prefecture is a wonderful place where you can enjoy the natural scenery of the four seasons.

There are cafes and restaurants around the sightseeing boat dock, so you can enjoy a short walk around the town.
