When you visit Matsuyama, you should definitely stop by Matsuyama Castle.

You can take a ropeway to reach Matsuyama Castle. The ropeway is for one person and does not have a safety bar. If you have luggage, make sure to hold it securely. Although it might seem scary without a safety bar, it is not very fast, so it is not frightening.

From the ropeway station to Matsuyama Castle, you need to walk a bit on a sandy path. It is not very far, but since Matsuyama is generally warm, it was hot even in October.
