🌴 Le Morne, Mauritius – Honeymoon Goals at JW Marriott

Just back from our honeymoon at the JW Marriott Le Morne (used to be the St. Regis) — and honestly, it was incredible. They’ve kept the butler service, which really made the stay feel that bit more special. We stayed in one of suites as Marriott’s Titanium member.

The beach? Absolutely stunning. Soft golden sand, clear warm turquoise water, and those slow, glowing sunsets you only ever see on postcards. Most evenings we’d just grab a drink, sit back, and watch the sun do its thing.

The spa was next level — probably the best massage I’ve had. Service throughout the resort was brilliant, and there were plenty of restaurants to keep things interesting all week. Everything from relaxed beach lunches to proper fine dining.

Took a few boat trips too — well worth it for the views of Le Morne from the water.

Only slight downside was the coral reefs — sadly, most of them have been bleached, so snorkelling wasn’t as colourful as you’d hope. But that’s not unique to Mauritius these days.

That said, it’s easy to see why Le Morne keeps being voted one of the world’s best beaches — the place is pure honeymoon magic.
