Highly recommend self-driving! You can stop anytime to admire each small waterfall

There are 6 unique small waterfalls along the way. These three are the most worth stopping for photos:

💎 Yuzhu Feihong (Jade Pillar Flying Rainbow)

The water flows down like white jade, often creating rainbows under the sunlight

Kids find it magical!

💎 Shuangdong Water Curtain

A unique water curtain cave scene where children can feel the mist up close

Remember to bring a waterproof jacket for the kids

💎 Feihong Waterfall

The largest waterfall group with roaring water sounds that are super impressive

For photos, stand on the right side of the viewing platform to capture the full panorama

✨ Wengong Temple Scenic Area Notes

The road here is quite complicated with many bends and narrow paths

Not recommended for families with kids, especially new drivers

The stone sea landscape is rather ordinary and not great for photos

If short on time, you can skip this spot

✨ Shenxianling Scenic Area Family Guide

If you want to see Doumu Waterfall, you need to set aside separate time

It’s completely out of the way from the main scenic area, so plan ahead!

Our family itinerary:

9:00 Arrive at the Visitor Center and start the waterfall exploration journey

Let the kids get off at each small waterfall to play and connect with nature

10:30 Arrive at the central resort area for a short rest

13:20 Start climbing the Lingyun plank road

14:00 Reach the glass viewing platform, the kids were very excited

Tips for traveling with kids:

✅ Prepare plenty of water and snacks

✅ Have the kids wear non-slip sports shoes

✅ It’s very sunny when climbing at noon, so take sun protection measures

✅ The plank road is fully exposed, remember to wear hats
