State Library Victoria

I visited State Library Victoria in central Melbourne.
It's renowned as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

History: Founded in 1854 as the "Melbourne Public Library," it's one of Australia's oldest free public libraries.

Location: Located on Swanston Street in the Melbourne CBD, surrounded by La Trobe, Russell, and Little Lonsdale streets.

Visitor numbers: With a collection of over 5 million books, it's one of the busiest public libraries in the world, attracting approximately 2.3 million visitors annually as of 2023.

It also has educational spaces for children and startup support, which was wonderful. #Australia #Melbourne
