Puffing Billy Train Ride Experience

This is one of my recommendations for people travelling to Melbourne! Experience riding on a old, retro train while taking in such beautiful sights.

Puffing Billy Railway is a 2 feet 6 in narrow gauge heritage railway in the southern foothills of Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne.

The entire train ride experience is estimated about 45 minutes, and I would recommend coming during Spring / Autumn weather where there’s sun, but also windy.

You can drive to Puffing Billy from Melbourne, which will take you about 1 hour. You can also take public transport which will take up to 1 hour 20 minutes.

And lastly, do remember to book your tickets in advance!
