Located within a lumber factory in Miaoli, Wookaren is a low-profile cafe from the outside, but stepping inside immediately brings a sense of calm and tranquility. The interior is entirely designed with wood, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
The coffee and desserts here are excellent, with reasonable prices, making it a place where every choice is a safe bet. This time, I tried the steamed pudding. Initially, I was concerned about the texture due to the many holes, but the taste was completely unexpected. The slightly bitter caramel complemented it perfectly, making it the highlight of this visit.
In addition to desserts, the coffee options are thoughtfully curated, and both the drinks and coffee are of high quality. Combined with the comfortable ambiance, it's a great spot to spend time alone quietly or to gather and chat with friends.
