A tranquil retreat with private hot springs: A visit to Bettei Soan

Bettei Soan, a luxury ryokan located in Minami-Aso, Japan, offered the ultimate relaxation during my trip. The most impressive feature was the private hot springs available in each room, allowing guests to enjoy them 24/7. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern conveniences. The kaiseki meals served for dinner and breakfast were exquisite, made with fresh ingredients and delicate flavors, and could be enjoyed quietly in the room or at the main restaurant. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, leaving a lasting impression. The surrounding mountains and natural scenery were stunning, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the serene atmosphere provided a chance to recharge. Although Wi-Fi was not available in the rooms, this allowed for a digital detox and helped me focus more on relaxation.
