Minneapolis Summer Travel Review — Stone Arch Bridge, Institute of Art, Mill Ruins Park
I'll introduce three places that left a strong impression on me during my summer trip to Minneapolis!
First, Stone Arch Bridge! It's an old stone bridge over the river, and it's perfect for walking. The river sparkles, and the bridge itself has a classic and stylish vibe, so just walking on it really sets the mood.
Also, the Minneapolis Institute of Art is highly recommended! The admission is free, so I went without any burden, and there were a variety of artworks inside that made exploring really fun. Especially, there were many Impressionist and modern art pieces that were a feast for the eyes, and it’s a space where families can comfortably enjoy, which made it even better.
Lastly, Mill Ruins Park! It used to be the site of a factory, but now it’s beautifully developed into a park, perfect for a stroll. The riverside walking path is pretty, and there were many people having picnics on the lawn. There are plenty of spaces for kids to run and play, and if you go on a nice day, it feels totally healing.
I loved that I could enjoy history, art, and nature all at once while traveling in Minneapolis. If you want to take a walk and experience culture in the summer, be sure to stop by!
