"Hakaku Tunnel"

From Futamata Bridge to Hakkaku Tunnel

I went there in mid-March 2023.

One of the remains of the Kumanobu Railway, which was closed in 1964.

It connected Minami-Kumamoto Station to Toyo Station in Toyo-cho, Shimomashiki District (now Misato Town) 🚂



It's about a 5-minute walk from Hakkaku Tunnel to Futamata Bridge, so if you're going to both, the parking lot near Hakkaku Tunnel is larger. ⁣
