[Miyazaki] Aoshima Island, home to a beautiful shrine that's like a jungle!

Aoshima is a famous tourist spot in Miyazaki, about 30 minutes from Miyazaki City. Unfortunately it was raining on the day I visited, but I was thrilled to see the "Devil's Washing Rock", where the coastline is jagged like a washboard, a rare subtropical rainforest on the mainland, and the beautiful Aoshima Shrine. There is also something like a botanical garden nearby where you can observe plants that can only be seen in tropical and subtropical regions. There are also several restaurants, and the food was delicious. It is also just a short walk from the JR station, so if you visit Miyazaki, please be sure to check it out.
