Qingdao Shrine-A shrine of marriage with a strong mythological background

Aoshima Shrine is located on the outlying island of Aoshima in the southeast of Miyazaki City. The beautiful coastline nearby gives it an advantage of having a beautiful sea view! Moreover, the shrine is planted with tropical plants inside and outside, which is rare in other shrines!
According to legend, Qingdao Shrine is related to the legends of two gods in ancient Japan, namely Umisachihiko (sea god) and Yamasachihiko (mountain god), which also adds a strong mythological color to the shrine!
Now Aoshima Shrine has become one of the must-visit attractions in southern Kyushu. It is mainly used to bless marriage and traffic safety, so it is especially attractive to couples!
