Amanohashidate is located in northern Kyoto. The highlight is the cable car ride to the dragon-shaped island. Parking is right near the ticket booth. After purchasing your ticket, wait for the single-seat cable car to ascend to the observation deck at the top. The cable car moves slowly, making it suitable for children.

Upon reaching the top, you'll find the beautiful dragon-shaped island, which also houses an amusement park. A must-see is the scenic bike ride. The bikes are adorable, and each bike seats two people, making it a perfect two-way ride.

There's a ticket booth for various activities, such as the Ferris wheel and carousel. There are also food vendors. The weather was beautiful during the winter, and the view was stunning.

This is another beautiful place worth a visit.
Getting there: We rented a car from Kyoto. It's a bit far, but well worth it.
