Seafood restaurant in front of Amanohashidate Station in Kyoto🇯🇵

Kairakuri is a seafood restaurant located in front of Amanohashidate Station in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is only a 1-minute walk from Kyoto Tango Railway Amanohashidate Station and has an extremely convenient location. This restaurant is located on the second floor of a seafood souvenir shop. Although it looks like an ordinary souvenir shop, the local fresh seafood dishes it provides, especially rock oysters and seafood donburi, are famous for their fresh ingredients, affordable prices and relaxed dining atmosphere.

The store's interior decoration is simple and plain, with mainly wooden tables and chairs. The space is clean and tidy, with a strong seaside town style. The restaurant does not have an English menu, but there are pictures and food models. You can just point your finger at the waiter to tell him what you want to eat. Don't worry even if you don't understand Japanese.

Chou Meizai first ordered a giant Japanese oyster (rock oyster) as an appetizer. The oyster was fresh, sweet and crispy, and it was delicious even with a little soy sauce. The sashimi set meal is quite large in portion and there are many types of sashimi. Among them, the giant snail is extremely delicious and is the favorite of the thick-browed boy.
