Looking to immerse yourself in a breathtaking sea of hydrangeas? Chiba Hattori Farm is a must-visit destination!
This place may not be the epitome of elegance, but it is a charming and rustic hydrangea kingdom. The hills are covered with lush hydrangeas in full bloom, creating a vibrant and colorful spectacle that is simply mesmerizing. Plus, it's not crowded, so you won't have to worry about people photobombing your shots. It's easy to capture stunning, atmospheric photos that feel like a private getaway 📷.
The farm is relatively small, mainly consisting of a hillside. You can explore and take photos in about an hour and a half, but if you want to take your time and snap more pictures, feel free to stay longer.
As for lighting, it's best to visit before 4 PM on sunny days. The hillside has shaded areas, so if possible, morning visits are ideal. After 4 PM, most of the hillside is in shadow, with only the hilltop receiving some light. However, the cooler temperatures and fewer visitors make it a pleasant time to visit. It's not recommended to go on rainy days as the steep paths can become slippery, but you can still enjoy the view from the base of the hill.
Regarding transportation, driving is highly recommended as public transport in the village is limited. Gather your friends and head out for this enchanting hydrangea adventure!
