🖼️ More than art - it’s a penetration into Russian soul

Even if you are not a fan of art and paintings, which is actually neither do I, but one day I have decided that I have to visit this famous Tretyakov Gallery that has been visited already by so many tourists but not me. So I bought the tickets online and went there on a week day at 10 am right when they open so that to have less crowds there and it was actually a perfect solution.
Firstly, I don’t know how it works but once you step inside you start to be so involved in the painting you were not even interested in. There are so many different styles represented there: historical, religious and some of the most famous paintings too, but the way they are combined there just make such a full picture.
Secondly, I recommend to take an audio guide which is available in different languages. The navigation in the gallery has hall numbers and it’s actually very big so don’t expect to explore everything at once. Once you feel overwhelmed you can just stop going into details and simply observe.
Since my first time I’ve been to that gallery 2 more times and every time I found something new.
