Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is one of Okinawa's most iconic attractions, featuring the spectacular Kuroshio Sea tank where you can get up close to large marine creatures like whale sharks and manta rays gracefully swimming. Although it takes about two hours by car from Kokusai Street, many visitors come here because of its fame. However, if you visit during peak tourist seasons, the aquarium can be quite crowded, and with children cheering and tourists chatting, the overall environment may become somewhat noisy, which might affect the immersive experience. It is recommended to avoid busy times or visit on weekday mornings for a more relaxed experience. Even so, witnessing the grandeur of the Kuroshio Sea remains an unforgettable memory.
