Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, go see the big whale shark🐋

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, Japan's premier aquarium, is located in Ocean Expo Park.
The highlight is the world-class Kuroshio Sea tank. Witness a 8.8-meter-long whale shark 🐋 swimming alongside a pair of giant manta rays.

Before entering, don't forget to catch the dolphin show at the Okichan
Theater, set against the backdrop of the azure ocean! The best part is that admission is free. There are five shows per day: 10:30 AM,
11:30 AM,
1:00 PM,
3:00 PM, and
5:00 PM. Don't forget to stop by and see them! They're so adorable! Don't forget to visit the turtle pond!
I love the lower level, where you can view the turtles from below. 🐬

There are many zones inside, including a living coral reef zone, using natural lighting to mimic the Okinawan sea, and a deep zone, showcasing deep-sea marine life from around the Ryukyu Islands. There are over 780 species of underwater life, and the highlight is the whale shark.

The four manta rays we saw in the tank were successfully bred here.

For those who want to watch the whale sharks feed, there's a feeding show.
Feedings are held three times a day: 9:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM.

They swim upright and eat like this.

Another highlight of the aquarium is the Ocean Blue Cafe. What's special about this is the seating next to the glass tank, just like in the Kuroshio Sea. You can queue for a seat for 1,000 yen for 50 minutes. There are only 9 tables.
