Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo was one of the most surreal landscapes I’ve ever experienced. We started the trip before dawn, riding jeeps across the dark, dusty sea of sand. Reaching the viewpoint in time for sunrise, I watched the sky shift from deep purple to golden orange as mist curled around the volcano’s smoking crater—it was absolutely magical. After sunrise, we climbed the 250 steps to the crater rim, where the wind howled and the view inside the steaming volcano felt like stepping onto another planet.
