Hidden Gem! Zoo & Cafe Inside the Park

About an 8-minute walk from JR Kichijoji Station.
I visited a small zoo inside the nature-rich Inokashira Park.
Since it was a weekday, it was very quiet, making it highly recommended for families with children.

Upon entering, I first went to a cafe near the entrance called "Komorebi." You can buy light meals and drinks there, so it seemed like a good place to have a light lunch. I ordered the marshmallow capybara tapioca brown sugar milk, and the marshmallow capybara floating on top was super cute.

Although there are no large animals in the park, there is a petting corner and a squirrel path where you can enter inside the fence, which is very soothing. I also went to see the recently added capybara, which was very friendly and adorable.

Be sure to visit this hidden gem of a zoo in Tokyo!
