We stopped at Roadside Station Kitashinshu-Yamanouchi for lunch after visiting the Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park. It was a convenient place to take a break and grab a bite before continuing our journey.

The station itself is fairly modest—not a big or flashy rest stop, but it does the job. The food options were decent and comforting, though nothing particularly memorable. We had some local-style lunch sets that were warm and filling, perfect for refueling after a long walk in the cold. Service was quick, and there were plenty of seats available.
