This time I mainly want to share with you a very special home restaurant culture
When I visited Nagasaki, I discovered a rather interesting phenomenon, many small restaurants are run directly from the Japanese’s own homes! That is halfway down the ground floor is the dining room, inside is the living room, and upstairs is where they sleep. In Tokyo/Osaka, where big cities have more independent shops or large chain restaurants, this family-style business model is less common.

This restaurant I went to this time is half shop, half home!
✔ The door is a small restaurant, but directly inside the door is even the living room! 😳
✔ The second floor is their bedroom, completely "live upstairs, downstairs shop" model ~
This place is run by an old couple who provide handmade homemade cooking, they are super enthusiastic and kind, I only came to eat once, but he already remembered that I especially like to eat kanto soup, and gave me an extra portion of kanto soup, super moved TT
If you go to Nagasaki, you might as well discover these "hidden home-style restaurants"! ! 🍽️🏡
Near the restaurant is White Bird Park, where you can take a walk after dinner. I think Japan's greening is really done well. I saw a lot of flowers and plants along the way. They were obviously carefully cultivated by someone. I saw the names of different flowers written on the flower beds
