Not to be outdone by Hakodate in Hokkaido, Nagasaki in Kyushu has been selected as one of Japan's new three major night views. Take the cable car up Mt. Inasa and you can also enjoy a million-dollar night view!
In fact, Nagasaki and Hakodate are quite similar. Both are port cities nestled in the mountains and by the sea, with buildings that have a strong European colonial flavor. Even the night scenes are very similar, with the brightly lit streets under the stars and the fishing lights of ships anchored in the harbor, interweaving into a million-dollar night scene.
There are aerial cable cars and rail cars from the foot of Mt. Inasa to the top of the mountain, as well as well-prepared hiking trails. It takes about an hour to reach the top of the mountain from the foot of the mountain.
There are facilities such as an observation deck, a cafe, a restaurant and a ranch where sika deer are raised on the top of the mountain. You can observe deer and monkeys up close, which is quite interesting.
