This time, I took a day trip to Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture!
I'd like to share my experience!
First, after arriving at Nagasaki Station, I took a 15-minute walk to Meganebashi Bridge!
⭐️Meganebashi Bridge
Said to have been built in 1634 (Kan'ei 11) by Zen Master Mokusu Nyojo of Kofuku-ji Temple, Meganebashi Bridge is said to have been named after the double circle its reflection forms on the river's surface, resembling "glasses." It is considered one of Japan's three most famous bridges, along with Nihonbashi Bridge in Tokyo and Kintaikyo Bridge in Yamaguchi.
Part of the bridge collapsed in the 1982 Nagasaki flood, but was restored the following year and has since been designated a National Important Cultural Property.
Next, I took a bus to the Gunkanjima Digital Museum! Admission was only 1,800 yen per person! It was a great experience!
Then, although not pictured, I went to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and Dejima, and ended my trip by relaxing and enjoying the view from Mount Inasa! It's a beautiful view, isn't it? 😊
This is my first post, so it might not be the best, but I hope you find it useful!
