Nagoya's famous maple viewing spot #Shiratori Garden is the largest in the Tokai region. This strolling garden with a pond is based on the topography of the Chubu region. The artificial hills represent Mt. Ontake, the flowing water represents the Kiso River, and the inflowing pond represents Ise Bay.
Shiratori Garden is the largest Japanese garden in the city. With the theme of "Story of Water", it is of great tourist value. Starting from late March every year, spring cherry blossoms will dye the park into a spring color, including weeping cherry, red weeping cherry, royal yellow, mountain cherry, Yang Guifei, etc. You can also enjoy the cherry blossom path along the White Bird Corridor along the Horikawa River.
Usually, the Shiratori Garden Festival and Atsuta Jingu Shrine are arranged to be visited together. Get off at Atsuta Jingu Nishi Station on the Meijo Line of the subway, and walk for 10 minutes from Exit 4 to arrive. The transportation is quite convenient.
