The water goddess "Matsu-goddess" is enshrined in the Kiyomizu-sha Shrine. There is a famous legend that at the end of the Heian period (approximately 1068-1185), the military commander Taira Kagekiyo used the spring water to wash his eyes and cured his eye disease. Make a wish to the spring by pouring water three times on the rock in the middle with a spoon and making a wish. If you wash your face with the spring water, it will have a beautiful skin effect. When I arrived at the spring, there were many people queuing up to splash water. I believe the spring water is very powerful, so of course I joined everyone in splashing water. Those who are interested can also come and make a wish to the goddess.
