🏛Tickets can be purchased on-site at the museum without reservation.
🏛Take the nearest subway station: Makishi Station, and walk there, which takes about 20 minutes. If you are traveling with young children or the elderly, it is not recommended to walk because there is a long uphill section.
🏛The buildings are very distinctive, and there are 5-step scenery stamps, which are worth collecting! After stamping, it can be turned directly into a postcard, which is very beautiful.
🏛In addition to the main exhibition area where tickets are sold, there are two small houses outside the building that do not require tickets: traditional Ryukyu architecture and ancient pottery kiln ruins.
🏛There is a cafe inside where you can eat meals (curry rice, sandwiches), and the taste is surprisingly good. The environment is brightly lit and the spacing between internal spaces is comfortable. It is recommended to go in and sit down and rest.
