🍜🥩【Yakiniku & Ramen Bar Ryukyu Paradais】
📍Paradis Bldg. 1B, 1-22-1, Izumizaki, Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture (next to Asahibashi Station)
⏱ 14:00–00:00, closed on Mondays
🛬For our first meal in Okinawa, we chose Ryukyu Paradais near our accommodation. Although the exhaust system is a bit weak and the whole body smells like yakiniku, the overall atmosphere is lively and has a local izakaya feel. You can also make reservations online in advance to choose a set meal, which is quite friendly to tourists.
🥩We ordered a yakiniku set meal for two (¥5,500×2). The beef tongue was cut thinly and roasted crispy and tender without being tough; the thick-cut steak was simply seasoned and the fat melted just right when bitten; the chicken legs and pork belly were also stable. The side dishes are bean sprouts and kimchi, which are not the main dishes but just enough to relieve the greasiness.
🍜 The ramen is "Shishin Paradaisuramen" (¥1,300), the soup is salty and fragrant, with moderate spiciness but slightly high salt content, and it is very satisfying with plenty of green onions and white onions, suitable for those with heavy tastes to finish.
🍺 For drinks, we chose draft beer and Highball, the cups were super cold, and it was refreshing to drink.
💳 The total cost was ¥12,300, which is not cheap but the quality of the ingredients is good. It is a first experience of yakiniku with convenient sightseeing routes and pleasant taste.
