2. Shuri Castle: Experience unique architecture and culture that is different from other cities in Japan (restoration is scheduled to be completed in 2026)
3. Shimauta Izakaya: Have fun playing kachashi with other customers
4. Taketomi Island: Ride a water buffalo cart and tour the Ryukyu houses while learning about the island and listening to the sanshin. Cycling is also good 👍🏻
5. Miyara River Mangrove: You can go kayaking or SUP in one of the largest mangroves in Japan 🚣♂️ Also, even on rainy days, the cancellation rate is low, so it's a good target

Even after the rainy season, it often rains, so an umbrella is essential.
Also, typhoons pass quickly, so flights and ferries may be canceled, so we recommend that you leave some time in mind and with a schedule.
(Actually, we had planned to stay one night on Iriomote Island, but the ferry was cancelled so we had to change our plans.)
