Nakijin Castle Ruins

Nakijin Castle Ruins is a breathtaking place to experience Okinawa’s cherry blossoms. As a history enthusiast, I was fascinated by the ancient stone walls, which contrast beautifully with the pink sakura in full bloom. The Nakijin Gusuku Cherry Blossom Festival added a magical touch, with lanterns illuminating the blossoms at night. The panoramic views from the top of the ruins make the climb worthwhile. It’s less crowded than other famous cherry blossom spots, so I could take my time enjoying the scenery. A must-visit if you're in Okinawa during the season!
