This trip, let's go to the Ariyabal Monastery in Terelj, Mongolia!!✈️
🛄 | Ariyabal Monastery (Арьяабал бурханы бясалгал, номын хий)🙏
The temple is located on the side of a mountain, so I had to park my car in the parking lot and climb up a long staircase. The stairs were a bit steep, but there were Buddhist scriptures and positive messages written here and there on the way up, so I was able to calm my mind rather than feel tired. I walked slowly and read the phrases one by one, and before I knew it, my thoughts were being organized.😃
When I finally arrived at the temple, the scenery that unfolded before my eyes was truly overwhelming. The grasslands and rocky mountains of Terelj beyond the temple, and the clouds slowly drifting over them were a beauty that cannot be expressed in words. The temple was smaller than I thought, but it was filled with deep peace and tranquility inside. The interior of the temple, which is used as a meditation space, was quiet, and various Buddhist symbols were painted on the ceiling and walls. I sat there, closed my eyes for a moment, and meditated, and it felt like time had stopped~😆
As I walked slowly around the temple, I felt the greatness of nature and the humility of humans once again. On the way down from the temple, all directions were filled with green, and just walking through it felt like my mind was purified. I thought that this place was not just a tourist attraction, but a place where my mind could rest!!👍
This trip to Mongolia meant more than just sightseeing to me. It was a precious time where I could reflect on myself in nature and experience emotions that I normally couldn't feel. For those who want to get away from their busy daily lives and have some quiet time for themselves, I highly recommend Terelj National Park and Aryapala Temple in Mongolia~🫠
