Introduction: Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is located on the southern foot of Maofeng Peak in Zhongshan Mountain. It is the mausoleum of Mr. Sun Yat-sen, the great pioneer of the democratic revolution. The construction of the mausoleum began in January 1926, the main building was completed in the spring of 1929, and the enshrinement ceremony was held on June 1 of the same year. The project continued until it was completed by the end of 1931. The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum covers an area of ​​2,000 acres and is built on the mountainside, with a plain in front and green mountains in the back. It is majestic and has a plan shape of a "Liberty Bell". The mausoleum building is symmetrical along the central axis. From the archway, tomb passage, mausoleum gate, stele pavilion to the sacrificial hall and burial chamber, it is 700 meters long and 70 meters high. There are 392 stone steps and 10 platforms, all of which are constructed of white granite and reinforced concrete and covered with blue glass tiles. The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum was listed as one of the first batch of key cultural relics protection sites in the country and was included in the "First Batch of Chinese 20th Century Architectural Heritage" list.
