📖 Da Bao'en Temple has a long history, tracing back to the Jianchu Temple and Ashoka Pagoda of the Eastern Wu period; during the Yongle era, Ming Emperor Zhu Di rebuilt Da Bao'en Temple and the "World’s First Pagoda," the nine-story Glazed Pagoda, in memory of Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang and Empress Ma. Da Bao'en Temple is grand in scale and ranks first among China’s hundred temples; the Glazed Pagoda is known in the West as the "Nanjing Porcelain Pagoda," a symbol of Chinese culture and hailed as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Medieval World."
🗺️ Currently, Da Bao'en Temple also hosts the "Visit the Pagoda" special exhibition, featuring a model of the Glazed Pagoda, the iconic Delft tulip vase from the Royal Delft in the Netherlands, and more. The exhibition’s color scheme is very rich and worth seeing!
💥 Recently, Da Bao'en Temple has many activities. Until October 31, visitors from Nanjing, Nantong, Taizhou, and Wuxi can enjoy ticket discounts; on December 16, the annual free open day of Da Bao'en Temple will also take place—something to look forward to~
